At 4:00 pm eastern standard time today, February 10, 2010, the Penn Forest Township Board of Supervisors declared a State of Emergency due to winter weather conditions in the township.
Please be advised that only Emergency vehicles will be allowed on roads in the township. Please stay indoors and off the roads to give township personnel and state employees from PennDot time to clear the roads of snow and make them safe to travel over.
This State of Emergency will remain in effect until 08:00 am eastern time tomorrow, February 11, 2010. Thank you for your consideration and stay safe. |
